As the State Board of Education in Nebraska considers a draft of new social studies standards for our students in grades K-12 it seems appropriate we review the “Education or Indoctrination” report compiled by ACT! for America Education. The ACT! for America Education report focuses on what public school students in grades 6-12 are learning about jihad, Islamic sharia law, Muhammad, Israel, 9/11 and much more.
Interestingly, the proposed Nebraska social studies standards mentions Islam but never specifically requires study or even the mention of Judaism, Christianity or the Holocaust.
ACT! for America Education has mailed this textbooks report to over 70,000 state and local school board members nationwide. Contact your school board members and see if they received their copy of this report that Rodgers said is not only a matter of education but of national security!
