I founded ACT! for America’s Omaha chapter because I understand that Islamic militants have declared war on America and I want everyone in America to become engaged in the battle! Having worked side by side for two years with Brigitte Gabriel as her personal assistant and one of her researchers I learned from her personal experience and from history the ins and outs of the battle we face in fighting Islamic terrorists. It is a battle fought on many levels. It is fought overtly on the battle field of Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Iraq. It is also a stealth battle fought in the media, Hollywood, the courts, and all levels of government, as well as in the classrooms, our culture and our financial institutions.
In the last year alone we have been able to thwart 51 homegrown terror plots here in the United States, but what about the plots we did not foil, like the Ft. Hood Massacre? What about the tens of thousands of terrorists who reside here all of whom are potential jihadists? Will we be able to remain a step ahead of the militant Islamists who desire to destroy us?
The ideology, politics and religion of Islam has one purpose – to bring the world into submission to Islam and under its laws. War (jihad) has been declared against us simply because we are Christians, Jews non-Muslims and secularists – or in other words, we are considered infidels. Islamic militants are operating in sleeper cells, attending our colleges and universities, even infiltrating our government offices but our political correctness keeps us blinded to the danger.
Unlike many of our neighbors in nearby Iowa, Michigan, Minesota and on both coastlines, who are on the defensive, we in Omaha, have the unique opportunity to be on the offensive. Together we can make a difference. We can work together to educate our community members, local, state and federal representatives; together with the National ACT! for America, we can develop and present legislation and support those on the front lines in this battle from police officers to elected officials.
We must become engaged in this battle, if we do not, little else will matter.
We won’t have an economy to worry about.
We won’t have equal rights for all.
We won’t have our cherished freedom.
And we will live under Sharia Law.
