CAIR, the Council of American Islamic Relations, continues its efforts to control the dialogue of terrorism training in our intelligence communities. What is so classic in this situation, is CAIR’s proven links to terror financing and the Muslim Brotherhood. In a document submitted in the Holy Land Foundation terrorism financing trial (2007), CAIR, was listed as one of many front groups for the Muslim Brotherhood. This same document outlined the purpose of the Muslim Brotherhood in the US as stealth or cultural jihad:
“The Ikhwan [Muslim brothers] must understand that all their work in America is a kind of grand jihad in eliminating and destroying Western civilization from within and `sabotaging’ their miserable house…”
Omar Ahmad, co-founder of CAIR, the Council on American-Islamic Relations, made his intent clear in a July 4, 1998 San Ramon Valley Herald article:
