It seems that Imam Rauf may have a problem erecting his shrine for the terrorists, who through an act of violence that took down four American airplanes, two buildings, a portion of the Pentagon touched the lives of every American across the nation. When the ball landed in the Mayor of New York City’s office, Mayor Bloomberg, gave the radical Islamists the nod to proceed. This, in my opinion, was an act of cowardice. The Mayor feared retribution against his family, a fear all of us who speak up against radical Islamists deal with every time we write or speak on the subject.
Our government (supposedly) is watching to see where the money to finance this project is coming from. But it is the bloggers and the researchers who are uncovering the financial sources for this project of extravagant proportions.
If only men like Donald Trump, Warren Buffet or Bill Gates as true American Patriots, would come to the rescue and buy the land out from under the Imam. I would think that “The Donald” should be able to build a great hotel on that spot in Lower Manhattan, name it “The 9-11” hotel or “The 9-11″condominiums. He could make millions of dollars. A hotel or condominium project would bring new life and help tremendously to encourage other downtrodden businesses in the area.
Yeah, in my world, the wealthy of our land who graciously donate huge sums of money in areas of the world devastated by natural disasters could be national heros by keeping the Islamic Imam from insulting a still mourning city!
Anti-radical Islamic Muslims as well as radicals will get the picture. Even though our President is soft on Islamists, WE THE PEOPLE of this nation, will not be so kind to their cause and grandeur.
